The exhibition Samlande I Norrbotten opens today at the Artmuseum in the north, Kiruna.

Worked together with the curator Elin Ranestål to prepare the exhibition for 2 1/2 day carrying and dragging stuff through gravestone on the site where the new Kiruna center is growing up around the new townhall. Great feeling to be part of the new Kiruna and to be first to exhibit in the brand-new arthall. Everything in place in time. Really satisfied with the presentation!

Samlande i Norrbotten- utställningen öppnar den 30 juli på Konsthallen i Kiruna.

Materialet till projektet Samlande i Norrbotten växte efter den andra resan i maj och det tog tid att välja ut de 14 bilder som nu ska visas på Konsthallen i Kiruna tillsamman med bl.a. bilder på gruvkartor. Förutom dessa printade bilder kommer ett bildspel att visas som innehåller ca 50 bilder.

Välkomna till Konsthallen i Kiruna. Utställningen pågår hela augusti ut. Besök måste förhandsbokas via Konstmuseet i norrs hemsida. Bilderna finns att se under menyn Works- Samlande i Norrbotten.

Samlande i Norrbotten

Efter flera veckors research och jakt på intressanta samlare i Norrbotten är nu Samlarprojektet igång. Det är Konstmuseet i Kiruna som anlitat mig för att göra dokumentationen av samlare och bilderna ska bli en del i utställningen Samla och Visa som öppnades digitalt i fredags den 19/3. På väg hem igen efter en veckas fotografering i Norrbotten. Tog bilen för det blev mycket utrustning och bra att undvika smittrisken på tåget. Under veckan har jag mött 12 olika samlare och det har varit en kul utmaning att göra bilder av deras samlingar. Ser redan fram till nästa resa, hoppas bara att covideländet lugnat ner sig för det begränsar ju oss.

Northern promises- documentation of the changing landscape in the north of Sweden

Northern promises is a project going on since three years back. I stayed a couple of days in Jokkmokk to try out the idea. I started to visit the waterpower damms, climbed down and walked in the dry riverbeds where the water used to roar. I found a very fascinating landscape in the dry riverbeds, at the same time a ruined landscape but also a kind of strange manmade magic.

Since then there have been many trips to cover different aspects of landscapes ann the way they have been transformed and are being transformed.

Gotland- lonely walks in the winter

Went to Gotland to make a story about the electric network on the island. Had a couple of nice days with almost no light and no other people on spots crowded in the summer time. A winter trip to Gotland is recomended.
